V-Day +1

Hey, Hey, Hey!
A belated Happy Valentines Day to you all! Hope it went well!

Didn’t do overly much, personally, so we won’t mention it anymore.

Got some work to do for Uni - so this wont be a loooooong post. Just felt I ought to write something, to keep the eye in as it were.

10th Febuary 09

Long time, no blog!

How have you people survived??

It has been a weekend of shake downs and punch up, drinking and travelling, but all in all, rather good.

Checked out a panto which some of my mates were involved with in various capacities (review to follow) and went down the pub and had a jolly good knees up with them. I duely arrived back at my Uni house yesterday to a lot of commotion (i will spare you the details) but it was sorted eventually. Honestly, I leave them for 3 days and it all goes to pot!

Not overly much to say apart from that - don’t want to do too much tonight, early(ish) start in the morning. So I will say Ta ta and find an interesting pic or vid for you to enjoy. :D

Gavin And Stacey. Tidy.

Watch this!

Watch this, it’s amazing.

Gotta love it.

3rd Febuary 09

Dunno what really to say today. Feel I ought to say summat, just so I’ve written something. Had a very unproductive day - though I did pick up a few books, including two Stephen Fry books. Enjoyed one of the others I’ve read, will probably review it soon. Not much else to say, went for a long walk in the rapidly melting snow and sat at home with the housemates watching telly and so on.

Here is a lovely little link - some random software, the link does it all.

And…

A bit i enjoyed from some random episode of mock the week.

Ta-ta!

And Lo, the snow came down upon the town of Soton, and everyone was happy…

Started the day by being rudely awakened at some god forsaken hour of the morning by three very excited five year olds.

It turned out to be three of my very excited housemates, driven crazy by the arrival of snow on the South coast. Of course various snow based hilarity ensued, one particular highlight being the emergence of a snowball wielding student in a shopping trolly. He got pelted for his efforts.

There were a flurry of rumours and frantic phonecalls in a vague attempt to find out whether uni had been cancelled. A positive result lead to a morning of Mario Kart, and an afternoon of Band of Brothers.

Pork Chops for dinner and an evening of staying in and keeping wam. Here’s for more snow tomorrow!!!

By the way, anyone seen the new Cadburies ad? Strange children…

Night All!x

Saturday 31st

Quite a fun day today. I enjoyed it.

Got up, we had a rather large ‘breakfast’ at 12ish (students, eh?) then set out into town for the afternoon. Used up a HMV voucher Ains gave me to get the Band of Brothers box set on DVD and a poster of the Abbey Road album cover. Wandered round some other shops, borders, waterstones etc.

Got in an messed around on the internet, caught up on the footie, watched some TV, rang mother dearest, nothing amazing.

Things went slightly odd at this point when i was enlisted by Ains to stop Matt from getting to her while she facebook raped him - at the point when i was practically lying on top of him did we decide to spray him with cream!!! (Pic will appear later) There was a retaliatory strike by Matt, and then a quick clean up sesh! (and a dinner of fajitas, and the Borat DVD.)

The night ended with a game of ghetto scrabble (i might post up the rules at some point - and the creation of the word kigifog, that said, the definition has not been firmly established!)

A day of cleaning looms large on the horizon, alongside any uni work that has been left outstanding

Here is a nifty twitter cartoon I Stumbled-upon.
